Canadian snowboard cross racer Maëlle Ricker won the gold medal at Thursday's race in Stoneham, Que. Teammate Dominique Maltais took the bronze medal after she fell. Ricker who came in fourth in turin might win the gold in vancouver.
On the men's side, Mike Robertson appears to have secured his Olympic berth after finishing in 5th place. Robertson has now met the qualification criteria of three top-5 finishes.
Drew Neilson placed fourth after going up in the final against top-ranked World Cup racer Paul Vaultier of France, and American riders Graham Watanabe and Shaun Palmer.
